During the Fall Migration the Hummingbirds need to drink a lot of Nectar for the long flight. They need to increase their body weight by 25-40%! Help them Fuel-up by hanging extra Feeders. You could see a large amount of Hummingbirds!
In Sept & Oct the Ruby-throated Hummers will gather in Texas, Louisiana & Florida. They will be preparing for their Final Flight either across the Gulf of Mexico or by land Route to Mexico.
HUMMERS ARE HEADING BACK TO THEIR WINTER HOMES IN MEXICO, CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICA

Try to Keep Feeders up through early-mid November. Or, for at least 2 weeks after you see your last Hummingbird. Many Late Migrants.
